Each piece is hand sorted to ensure that it has top grade fire, is 3 dimensional so that cabochons or faceted stones can be cut out of them, and they are crack free. What you see is what you get. These will often have patterns like honeycomb, pinfire, stripes, and other attractive color zoning features.
