At high temperatures and pressure, quartz and tourmaline mix, but when the temperatures cool and the pressure lowers, the minerals separate, trapping the tourmaline needles in quartz.
Each piece so unique, the strands of tourmaline running through the quartz make for an eye-catching piece!
